Now that we know GTA 6 is officially in development, speculation of what information technology might really contain is well on the way.

And while whatever purported leaks at this early stage should exist treated with farthermost scepticism, one interesting one has emerged that certainly feels plausible.

If truthful, that would confirm the longstanding rumor that the next instalment of the Grand Theft Auto franchise will exist returning to Vice City — Rockstar'south take on Miami — for the first time since 2006'due south Vice Metropolis Stories on PSP.

Notably, this wouldn't necessarily involve dropping the number, given the first two letters of Vice also happen to be the Roman numerals for six. Information technology all depends on how Rockstar chooses to fashion it on the logo.

This might all exist complete nonsense, of course, and a cynic would note that the "subject to change" caveat is a handy get-out-of-jail card for someone just making things up for internet points.

Long wait ahead
